Max Ruetra

Who is He?

Max Ruetra is a guy that found himself in a mental institution and is unaware of how he got there. A talking gila monster by the name of Geraldo Gila sprang him out and they both take a trip to this Webcartoonist commune called Webcomiclot that houses some of the most successful webcartoonists in this strange world. Geraldo claimed that Max’s college roommate Pope Lizardsaurus is the webcartoonist that controls Webcomiclot and wants Max’s help on his great Ripping Off King Arthur webcomic project.

The place seems very strange to Max and he begins to think it’s just a dream, although try as he may, he can’t seem to wake up.

Personality

Thinks he might be mad. Depressed that he has no ideas worth doing. Wants to give up.

Powers and Abilities

Has all the power of a typical out of shape 20 year old male. But what might happen if he became infected by an All Powerful AI Program?

Creation History

There was some time in my childhood that I discovered that my name backwards was spelled Ruhtra and I thought that adding a Max to that would make a cool nickname. And after being sick of explaining that it was pronounced Roo-Tra not Ruh-Tra, I changed the spelling to Ruetra.

And sometimes in the late 1990s, I made a reboot of my Despert-radoes strip that was called Desperadoville and was going to be a minicomic. Max would’ve been like some Private Eye joining Geraldo Gila on some mystery. I never finished more than one page of it and gave up on the project.
